Learning fair is a big deal at Good Shepherd. At each grade level the expectations in terms of scholarship and presentation quality increase. This page is focused on preliminary aspects of the project. Student must first research potential topic ideas. It is essential to choose a topic that is interesting, narrow enough that it will be informative, and broad enough so that sources can be found. To do this I suggest using my custom search engine at the top of this page or sites like Wikipedia. Learn everything that is considered general information before diving into the primary and secondary sources.
Once a topic is chosen it must be approved. We do not like duplicates so this from was created. On a specific day at a specific time you may choose topic. Answer all questions in this form (capitalize proper nouns). Remember a topic is not approved until your teacher marks it as such, see the last column.
